The paperback, both trade and mm for the US edition of The Da Vinci Code has been delayed because the hardcover is selling so well here. As long as it continues to do so, the other editions will not be released.

For the Brazil ed, sometimes special deals are made for schools and for price considerations in South America. The paperback has also been available in the UK since March.

An observation, though a tad late: a lot of books come out in paperback editions in India a lot earlier than they seem to do in the US/UK/Canada. There is a very tiny market for hardbacks here, since they're so expensive; as a consequence, Penguin, HarperCollins, and the rest publish special paperback editions that are labelled "not for sale outside the Indian subcontinent" (or something to that effect). The same probably is true of Brazil.

There is a site that I just found that may have all the info you are looking for. The site is bookbrowse.com. They have all the info about what books are coming out (paperback and hardback). They send out a letter to subscribers every month with all the new releases. I would say it covers about 80% of all that is being sold. It also provides short reviews and excerpts for all the books. There is a charge for full membership, but it's something like $3.00 a month. Hope that helps.
